Most common questions
Does TouchDraw use subscription pricing?
No, TouchDraw is a one-time purchase. You pay once and get full access to the app, including all updates and new features.
Why can't I run TouchDraw for Mac (version 1.x) after upgrading to macOS Sequoia?
If you recently upgraded to macOS Sequoia, you may find that TouchDraw 1 no longer runs. This is due to changes Apple made in how app purchase validation works. Since TouchDraw 1 was retired before these changes were introduced, it is no longer possible to run the app on macOS Sequoia or any future macOS versions. Unfortunately, because TouchDraw 1 is no longer available for sale, it cannot be updated to meet Apple’s new requirements.
If you still have access to a Mac running an older version of macOS, you can continue using TouchDraw 1 there. Otherwise, upgrading to TouchDraw 2 is the best option. TouchDraw 2 is fully backward-compatible, allowing you to open and edit all your existing drawings, though a new purchase is required since it is a separate version.
How can I reinstall TouchDraw 1 if I previously purchased it?
If you purchased TouchDraw 1 in the past and need to reinstall it, you won’t find it by searching the App Store. Only apps that are currently for sale appear in search results, and since TouchDraw 1 has been retired, it no longer shows up.
However, you can still download and install it from your purchase history. To do this, open the App Store on your device, navigate to your account or purchased apps section, and scroll through your list of previously purchased applications. TouchDraw 1 should appear there, allowing you to reinstall it.
Please note that TouchDraw 1 is no longer being updated, and compatibility with newer macOS and iOS versions may be limited. If you experience issues, upgrading to TouchDraw 2 may be the best option, as it is fully backward-compatible with all existing drawings.
